‘Butterfly’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Ennio Morricone’s debut, ‘Butterfly’, does not fit easily into one genre. Ennio Morricone had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Overall, I would highly recommend Butterfly CD.
Hot Tub Tin is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Silver On Sage is a striking and quite long song. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Butterfly. Here For The Wedding is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. In It’s Wrong For Me To Love You Ennio Morricone is at his best. Girl On My Porch gives good insight into the truths. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Bye Bye, which shows, blatantly, how much Ennio Morricone has evolved as a singer. Pokin’ Moke is a great opener for Butterfly. Back In The Hills marked the continuation of Ennio Morricone in style evolution. Butterfly Main Theme is the albums biggest surprise.
