When you buy a Ennio Morricone album, you know exactly what you’re getting! After seeing Le Vent, Le Cri (Premier Theme V.C.), I had to have a good Ennio Morricone cd. This is the first studio album from Ennio Morricone since bad diagnosis in 1981. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Ennio Morricone ever.
Bach (Premiere Variante) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Le Professionnel. V.C. (Premiere Variation) presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Le Professionnel. The song feels complete. V.C. (Seconde Variation) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Bach (Seconde Variante) is one of the coolest songs Ennio Morricone has ever recorded. D’afrique is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Music and lyrics of Le Retour (Sur Le Nom De Bach) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. When I listen to Bach (Troisieme Variante) in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. V.C. (Troisieme Variation) very upbeat. The first time I listened to V.C. (Quatrieme Variation) I was struck by its cool sound. Fee Morgane (2 Interludes Pour Harpes) is a fine track on any terms. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
