thirteen years ago, Ennio Morricone briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Rosemary”. Ennio Morricone was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ennio Morricone and Machine Gun Mccain together. This is one of the best Cd’s Ennio Morricone has dropped to date. Machine Gun Mccain is not something you should pass up.
A unique and uplifting song. Sogno Dopo Sogno sets the tone for the entire album. Come ‘lei’ is a bit of a show-tune. Voice and instruments in La Ballata Di Hank Mccain complement each other. Come Quando Fuori Piove make listening to Ennio Morricone like being in some sort of time warp. I can’t stop playing Defilee. Gli Intoccabili is a strong cut, one of many. I like the agression and power of Irene. La Ballata Di Hank Mccain is really the reason why I recommend buying Machine Gun Mccain. La Ballata Di Hank Mccain is probably the most interesting track on Machine Gun Mccain.
