Since completing 1984’s ‘ratas de vizcaya’, Eskorbuto fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. While no new Eskorbuto album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1984 tour in North America. After seeing ratas de vizcaya, I had to have a good Eskorbuto cd. Smart music for smart people.
The song dios, patria, rey ending is my favorite… so catchy! a la mierda el pais vasco is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Charming song, great melody. mi degeneracion is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. I like enterrado vivo because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. mucha policia, poca diversion presents the cool mix of instruments on Zona especial norte. oh no policia en accion - Check out that bassline!
