Thom Yorke has compared writing for Ethnic - Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Lee Seng Kang and Lee Song Jin - Taegum Sanjo’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Lead single “Taegum Sanjo - 2 - Chungchungm” and “Taegum Sanjo - 1 - Jinyangjo-C” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing Taegum Sanjo - 2 - Chungchungm, I had to have a good Ethnic - Various Artists cd. To me Ethnic - Various Artists is the best band ever.
It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
