Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Etienne Daho comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Since Etienne Daho last CD (Mythomane) on Savoy Records back in 1982, I have felt a massive void in my life. After seeing Il Ne Dira Pas, I had to have a good Etienne Daho cd. Smart music for smart people.
Ton Cinoche (3:01) - awsome. Voice of Etienne Daho in Mes Copains is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. On S’Fait La Gueule is one of my favorite songs by Etienne Daho. Va T’En which is my favorite is a truly Etienne Daho sounding song. This is one hell of a track. Encore Cette Chanson has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. L’Ete has a fun tempo. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Etienne Daho. Mythomane is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit.
