On the Singapore charts, superstar Eurythmics’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Eurythmics on ‘English Summer’. After seeing English Summer, I had to have a good Eurythmics cd. This is what good New Age should be.
Belinda is just simply stunning. In Take Me To Your Heart full palet of sound is used by Eurythmics to accentuate the presentation. If you are a Eurythmics fan, you will love She’s Invisible Now. Your Time Will Come defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I can’t stop playing Caveman Head. Never Gonna Cry Again presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on In The Garden. Opening track All The Young (People Of Today) shows the best of Eurythmics. Sing-Sing - For me, this is the best of the album. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Revenge, which shows, blatantly, how much Eurythmics has evolved as a singer.
