I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Original sufferhead’ really is amazing. There is no doubt that Fela Anikulapo Kuti has talent. On Original sufferhead album, Fela Anikulapo Kuti have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. To me Fela Anikulapo Kuti is the best band ever.
This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Colonial Mentality is one of my favorite songs by Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Song Itt is actually a funny song.
