There is no doubt that First Choice has talent. It has been sixteen years First Choice’ last studio CD, “Breakaway” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is the first studio album from First Choice since bad diagnosis in 1980. Overall, I would highly recommend Breakaway CD.
Breakaway still maintains something of a specific flourish. Seetin’ Pretty is pretty funky and mellow. A Happy Love Affair sets the tone for the entire album. Pressuse Point on Breakaway is solid and easy to listen to. I Can Show You (Better Than I Can Tell You) is the albums biggest surprise. First Choice sings Can’t Take It With You in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. House For Sale I just LOVE this mix! I now have Medley (Let Me Down Easy-Good Morning Midnight-Great Expectation) (Bonus) as one of my personal favorites.
