Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Fleetwood Mac’s new album to that on ‘Heroes Are Hard to Find’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Fleetwood Mac energies, virtually a rebirth. ‘Heroes Are Hard to Find’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I wish that “Heroes Are Hard to Find” album was instrumental.
What sets Coming Home apart is Fleetwood Mac’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. The song Angel ending is my favorite… so catchy! Bermuda Triangle is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Fleetwood Mac released so far. Music and lyrics of Come A Little Bit Closer creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. This song may be the most meaningful. Bad Loser is really the reason why I recommend buying Heroes Are Hard to Find. Silver Heels is Fleetwood Mac’s best work in years. Prove Your Love is a bit different from Fleetwood Mac stereotypical stuff. Born Enchanter stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. I came to like Safe Harbour.
