Since completing 1972’s ”mbriacate de sole’, Franco Califano fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album has some very good songs like ‘mbriacate de sole and ‘n bastardo. There is no doubt that Franco Califano has talent. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like ‘N Bastardo Venuto Dar Sud.
‘n bastardo is really the reason why I recommend buying ‘N Bastardo Venuto Dar Sud. ‘n contadino nun deve av pretese which is my favorite is a truly Franco Califano sounding song. ‘n’attimo de vita - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with beata te te’ dormi. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: gratta gratta amico mio, which shows, blatantly, how much Franco Califano has evolved as a singer. l’urtimo amico va via can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Franco Califano is all about. ma che serata k is perfect. Best song on the album, love it. This is probably my favorite song on the album. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. zitta, nun parle is gorgeous song though, very addictive.
