Are You Happy - I like this one. Tell It Like It Is gives taste of what makes George Benson special as a musician. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. It’s such an underrated song. Dontcha Hear Me Callin’ To Ya has a fun tempo. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Tell It Like It Is. My Woman’s Good For Me is the most memorable and perfect. Jama Joe is just simply stunning. My Cherie Amour is a fine track on any terms. Music and lyrics of Out In The Cold creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming.
