Ivan Grach has compared writing for Giorgos Ntalaras’s new album to that on ‘Kalhmera Kuria Ludia’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Giorgos Ntalaras on ‘Kapse Kapse’. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Kalhmera Kuria Ludia’ really is amazing. If I may, I suggest “Kapse Kapse”. That one song is amazing!
Mesa Sto Erhmo Spitaki makes a person feel excellent. Pes Mou Kati is another favourite of mine. Lyrics of Einai Arga are precise and evocative. I’ve found myself listening to H Emena H Thn Allh back to back and back many times. To Pswmi Ths Ksenitias sets the tone for the entire album. Anevainw Skalopatia is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Isws Aurio is Giorgos Ntalaras’s best work in years. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Hrtha Ki Apopse Sta Skalopatia Sou is absolutely incredible. Rikste Sto Guali Farmaki pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Feggari Xlwmo is a perfect sing-along. Kukewnas is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. I hope to keep hearing Giorgos Ntalaras works for a long time to come. Auth H Nuxta Menei is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
