Grand Funk Railroad was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Grand Funk Railroad and Survival together. This album has some very good songs like Country Road and All You’ver Got Is Money. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Grand Funk Railroad energies, virtually a rebirth. Great funk right here!
When I listen to All You’ver Got Is Money in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Comfort Me (6:48) a good melody. Feelin’ Alright - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I Whant Freedom - another great track from the Survival album. I Can Feel Him In The Morning one is one of the better boring ones. What sets Gimme Shelter apart is Grand Funk Railroad’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
