It’s natural for Hanoi Rocks to take a stab at ‘Tragedy’ considering her long-professed love for Depeche Mode. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Hanoi Rocks’s new album to that on ‘Bangkok Shocks Saigon Shakes Hanoi Rocks’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since Hanoi Rocks last CD (Bangkok Shocks Saigon Shakes Hanoi Rocks) on Columbia Records back in 1981, I have felt a massive void in my life. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Village Girl is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Don’t Never Leave Me - Hanoi Rocks first major hit. Hanoi Rocks offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. First Timer is a medium tempo tune. Cheyenne is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Hanoi Rocks has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. There is excellent mix of music in Walking With My Angel. Pretender hits the heart.
