On Hardcore album, Hardcore - Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Now signed to Hardcore - Various Artists’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Hardcore” leads Hardcore - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. There is so much to love about Hardcore - Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Hardcore constantly brilliant.
Drug Free Youth (The Abused) is probably the most interesting track on Hardcore. Right Brigade (Bad Brains) catches attention immediately, Beastie Boys is the funkiest number on the album. Police story (Black Flag) is exquisite work of Hardcore - Various Artists. World Up My Ass (Circle Jerks) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Hardcore - Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Nazi Punks Fuck Off! (Dead Kennedys). I like the agression and power of Circle Storm (DYS). Gimme Some Action (Fear) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Music and lyrics of Race Riot (Necros) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Endless vacation (Ramones) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Lost in Space (SOA) - A strong beat. Hardcore - Various Artists has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I Shot The Devil (Suicidal Tendencies) have really caught my ear and imagination. Deadhead (The Teen Idles) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Hardcore - Various Artists.
