I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Wild About Harry’ really is amazing. While no new Harry James album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1958 tour in Europe. Now signed to Harry James’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Wild About Harry” leads Harry James’s back-to-school campaign. Such great and happy songs.
Blues For Harry’s Sake is really the reason why I recommend buying Wild About Harry. I was truly moved when I heard What Am I Here For. Barn 12 rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Ring For Porter - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. So much energy, so exciting a sound. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Countin’. One listen to the sheer beauty of Blues For Lovers Only was all I needed. Blues On A Count had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Still going through Wild About Harry and coming to appreciate Kinda Like The Blues more and more with every listen.
