two years ago, Haydn, Franz Joseph briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Adagio”. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Haydn, Franz Joseph’s new album to that on ‘String Quartet in G major Op.77 No.1 (Hob. III: 81); Amadeus Quartet’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. On String Quartet in G major Op.77 No.1 (Hob. III: 81); Amadeus Quartet album, Haydn, Franz Joseph have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Such great and happy songs.
One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Adagio. I’ve found myself listening to Menuet: Presto back to back and back many times. Some call Finale: Presto from String Quartet in G major Op.77 No.1 (Hob. III: 81); Amadeus Quartet as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen.
