On Death Or Glory album, Heavy Load have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. While no new Heavy Load album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1982 tour in Australia. Self-described as Metal: Heavy with lots of words, Heavy Load comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Death Or Glory is the best essence of Heavy Load.
Might For Right is the albums biggest surprise. Something New (6:03) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! A great put together song. Still There Is Time - I like this one. Traveller actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Heavy Load’s face. Little Lies the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. In Daybreak Ecstasy Heavy Load spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I like to sing along with Take Me Away, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Death Or Glory couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Trespasser.
