On The Molly Maguires album, Henry Mancini have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This disc has all of the essential Henry Mancini classics. The Mollys Strike is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Main Title still maintains something of a specific flourish. Fiddle And Fife - A nice song. Work Montage is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Jamie And Mary is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Room And Board is perfect. The Hills Of Yesterday very upbeat. Pennywhistle Jig is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Trip To Town is a very catchy tune. I hope to keep hearing Henry Mancini works for a long time to come. A Brew With The Boys one is one of the better boring ones. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion.
