On Under A Spanish Moon album, Herb Alpert have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Under A Spanish Moon touched my soul like nothing else.
No Herb Alpert song has come close to capturing my attention as A Suite In Three Movements Rum did. A Suite In Three Movements Lam motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. A Suite In Three Movements Pac - A classic Herb Alpert track. Ancient Source is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. My Song stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Zamba (Para La Nina Yolanda) is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
