This is one of the best Cd’s Herb Alpert has dropped to date. I am not a real Instrumental music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Volume 2′ really is amazing. There is no doubt that Herb Alpert has talent. Volume 2 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Spanish Harlem is one of the best records ever. Swinger From Seville is almost impossible to review. Winds Of Barcelona is another strong production from Herb Alpert. Green Leaves Of Summer is probably the highlight of the album. More is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Herb Alpert must have run out of lyrics on the next track A-Me-Ri-Ca. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I believe Surfin’ Senorita is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. This track is clearly meant to showcase Herb Alpert’s vocal abilities. One listen to the sheer beauty of Crea Mi Amor was all I needed. Mexicorn Corn - A nice song. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity.
