An Evening With Herbie Hancock isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. An Evening With Herbie Hancock carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea on ‘Homecoming’. Such great and happy songs.
I find myself hearing bits of Ostinato here and there throughout my waking hours. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in An Evening With Herbie Hancock. Bouquet is one of the best records ever. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. La Fiesta is probably the highlight of the album.
