This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Hiroshima. This is the first studio album from Hiroshima since bad diagnosis in 1983. It has been sixteen years Hiroshima’ last studio CD, “Third Generation” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Third Generation is not something you should pass up.
The sound in We Are is really warm and Hiroshima’s signature voice is still very much present. I have all of Hiroshima’s tracks and Ren is probably the most his introspective effort. Song Do What You Can is actually a funny song. San Say is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. I now have Distant Thoughts as one of my personal favorites. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Fifths - arguably the best track on Third Generation album. Simple and heartfelt closing track Sukoshi Bit closes Third Generation on a high note.
