Since Howlin’ Wolf last CD (Muddy and The Wolf) on Savoy Records back in 1969, I have felt a massive void in my life. Now signed to Howlin’ Wolf’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Muddy and The Wolf” leads Howlin’ Wolf’s back-to-school campaign. For older fans Muddy and The Wolf will put a massive smile accross your face. Howlin’ Wolf “Muddy and The Wolf” is an amazing album.
What A Woman is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Opening track Who’s Been Talkin’ shows the best of Howlin’ Wolf. Overall a nice softer song. The Red Rooster is almost impossible to review. No Howlin’ Wolf song has come close to capturing my attention as Highway 49 did. Do The Do is a very catchy tune.
