After debuting at No. 1 last week, Iggy and the Stooges’s album Metallic 2xKO falls to No. 2 with 270,000, a sales slide of 98%. Since Iggy and the Stooges last CD (Metallic 2xKO) on ForeFront Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. Self-described as Rock: Punk-Rock with lots of words, Iggy and the Stooges comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Iggy and the Stooges ever.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Gimme Danger - Check out that bassline! Search And Destroy (7:47) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. You can find feelings on this piece of art. The sound of Open Up And Bleed is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. I love the melodic melody of I Got Nothing - I Got Shit and to this day it makes me feel good. Rich Bitch make listening to Iggy and the Stooges like being in some sort of time warp. Cock In My Pocket is absolutely incredible. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
