Inti-Illimani was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Inti-Illimani and Canto Para Una Semilla Ft Isabel Parra together. Canto Para Una Semilla Ft Isabel Parra isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Finland charts, superstar Inti-Illimani’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Overall, I would highly recommend Canto Para Una Semilla Ft Isabel Parra CD.
After about the third Los Parientes listen through, I began to believe this song is Inti-Illimani’s essence. El Amor - A strong beat. After you’ve listened to El Compromiso, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The song feels complete. When I listen to La Esperanza in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. La Muerte is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Although Epilogo is very melodic it is far from sad. In Cancion Final it becomes nowhere more obvious that Inti-Illimani has yet to define own style.
