Now signed to Inti-Illimani’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Inti-Illimani En Berlin CD2″ leads Inti-Illimani’s back-to-school campaign. This is the first studio album from Inti-Illimani since bad diagnosis in 1984. To me Inti-Illimani is the best band ever.
First time I heard La Exiliada Del Sur was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.It’s a great pleasure to listen to El Mercado De Testaccio from the beginning to the end. What sets La Marusa apart is Inti-Illimani’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Sensemaya is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Inti-Illimani En Berlin CD2 have ended. El Vals is probably one of Inti-Illimani’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Un Hombre En General is one of the coolest songs Inti-Illimani has ever recorded. I like the agression and power of Candidos. I have all of Inti-Illimani’s tracks and El Aparecido is probably the most his introspective effort. Vuelvo is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. El Pueblo Unido as a highlight of Inti-Illimani En Berlin CD2 contains a ton of amazing melodies.
