Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Iron Metal on ‘Intro - Rock the Cops to Town’. This album has some very good songs like Intro - Rock the Cops to Town and Whiskey Wine Woman. Since completing 1982’s ‘Intro - Rock the Cops to Town’, Iron Metal fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Last Hot Album by Iron Metal
In Whiskey Wine Woman it becomes nowhere more obvious that Iron Metal has yet to define own style. Band Introductions - Love of My Woman had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Get Rockin’ is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Cocaine Nose - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Iron Metal. Iron Metal breathes new life into the music in Devil Hell. Musically Steaming Bridge is superior to other tracks in Iron Metal I-Rock on the Hole. Still going through Iron Metal I-Rock on the Hole and coming to appreciate Rock on the Hole - Side 1 more and more with every listen. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Iron Metal I-Rock on the Hole. Don’t judge Rock on the Hole - Side 3 on the first listening. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Iron Metal.
