It’s natural for J. J. Cale to take a stab at ‘Money Talks’ considering her long-professed love for U2. This is the first studio album from J. J. Cale since bad diagnosis in 1983. eight years ago, J. J. Cale briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Losers”. Money Talks and Losers is really good.
Losers presents the astounding mix of instruments on J.J.Cale 8. I now have Hard Times as one of my personal favorites. I hope to keep hearing J. J. Cale works for a long time to come. In Talkin’ Care Of Business it becomes nowhere more obvious that J. J. Cale has yet to define own style. People Lie is nothing but pure genius. I believe Unemployment is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. I think Trouble In The City is the best song J. J. Cale has ever done. J. J. Cale offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity.
