There is so much to love about James Brown, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It has been ten years James Brown’ last studio CD, “I Got The Feelin’” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘I Got The Feelin” kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. One of James Brown’s best albums yet.
This track is a great song that still never gets old. It Won’t Be Me - My least favorite song on this album. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Maybe I’ll Understand ( Part 2 ) is my favorite song on I Got The Feelin’. I loved Stone Fox the first time I heard it. If I Ruled The World is one of these floating songs. A unique and uplifting song. Maybe Good - Maybe Bad is the song that really did it for me. Shhhhh ( For A Little While ) - another great track from the I Got The Feelin’ album. You’ve Got The Power hits the heart. Maybe I’ll Understand is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. All of songs on I Got The Feelin’ and have something to say letting alone I Got The Feeling.
