Since James Galway last CD (Song Of The Seashore) on Savoy Records back in 1979, I have felt a massive void in my life. ‘Song Of The Seashore’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of James Galway on ‘Sunshine Shining Through The Trees’. This album is in perfect progression from James Galway!
James Galway sings Song Of The Seashore in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Lullaby was the first single release from the album Song Of The Seashore. Sunshine Shining Through The Trees is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Red Dragonfly has a fun tempo. Cherry Blossom Time - a classic song. James Galway is hitting on all cylinders in The Evening Primrose. Song Of The Sea Shell is probably the highlight of the album. My Homeland is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. I love the melodic melody of Cherry Blossoms and to this day it makes me feel good. The Port Of Habu - To me, this is the best song on the Song Of The Seashore. The Coconut Shell is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Strong, powerful vocals of James Galway in Misty Moon Night are very impressive. Opening track Cherry Blossoms shows the best of James Galway.
