This is the first studio album from James Last since bad diagnosis in 1982. James Last was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from James Last and Biscaya together. This disc has all of the essential James Last classics. This album is a scorcher!
I listened to the opening track Beachrunner and liked it a lot. Diving (Die Unterwasserwelt) - A nice song. Rain and Sun is probably the highlight of the album. The Morning After on Biscaya is solid and easy to listen to. Vocals of James Last in Shore Life really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. From the moment you listen to Abends Im Schilf you’re hooked. Verlorener Sommer catches attention immediately, If you are a James Last fan, you will love The Calm Before The Storm. Empty Glasses is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track James Last ever produced.
