It’s natural for James Last to take a stab at ‘Deep In The Heart Of Texas’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. Self-described as Classical with lots of words, James Last comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. On Evergreens Non Stop Dancing album, James Last have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. If I may, I suggest “Deep In The Heart Of Texas”. That one song is amazing!
Exodus I just LOVE this mix! I’ve found myself listening to Love Is A Very Splendoring Thi back to back and back many times. Rum and Coca Cola is amazing work of James Last. Within the first few notes of Tea For Two it’s perfectly clear that James Last is living this song. Goody-Goody is the funkiest number on the album. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Simple and heartfelt closing track Night and Day closes Evergreens Non Stop Dancing on a high note. I Left My Heart In San Francis great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Happy Days Are Here Again is exquisite song though, very addictive.
