It’s natural for Jan Garbarek to take a stab at ‘Aftenland’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. Jan Garbarek was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jan Garbarek and Aftenland together. On the Canada charts, superstar Jan Garbarek’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. To me Jan Garbarek is the best band ever.
One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Syn. Linje is a song to enjoy for years to come. Bue is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Enigma (3:36) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Strong, powerful vocals of Jan Garbarek in Kiden are very impressive. Spill is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Iskirken is absolutely incredible. Tegn stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
