Self-described as New Age with lots of words, Jan Garbarek and Bob Stenson comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This disc has all of the essential Jan Garbarek and Bob Stenson classics. eight years ago, Jan Garbarek and Bob Stenson briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Svevende”. If I may, I suggest “Dansere”. That one song is amazing!
Svevende is just simply stunning. What sets Bris apart is Jan Garbarek and Bob Stenson’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Skrik And Hyl - My least favorite song on this album. Lokk - a classic song. Til Vennene had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
