When you buy a Jan Garbarek album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Since Jan Garbarek last CD (Dansere) on Savoy Records back in 1976, I have felt a massive void in my life. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Jan Garbarek on ‘Dansere’. I Love Dansere from start to finish!
The opening track Svevende is very much like you would expect from other albums. Bris is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. I listened to the opening track Skrik and Hyl and liked it a lot. Lokk (Etter Thorvald Tronsgard) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. So much energy, so exciting a sound.
