This is one of the best Cd’s Jan Garbarek; Haden; Gismonti has dropped to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jan Garbarek; Haden; Gismonti energies, virtually a rebirth. It has been seven years Jan Garbarek; Haden; Gismonti’ last studio CD, “Magico” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Smart music for smart people.
Magico one is one of the better boring ones. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Spor is my favorite song on Magico. Palhaco is one of these floating songs.
