This is one of the best Cd’s Jan Garbarek, Kjell Johnson has dropped to date. Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Jan Garbarek, Kjell Johnson comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. While no new Jan Garbarek, Kjell Johnson album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1979 tour in North America. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Aftenland.
A fantastic track full of wonder. Jan Garbarek, Kjell Johnson has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. What sets Bue apart is Jan Garbarek, Kjell Johnson’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. There is cool mix of music in Engima. Kilden is a medium tempo tune. Spill sets the tone for the entire album. Iskirken which is my favorite is a truly Jan Garbarek, Kjell Johnson sounding song. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Aftenland.
