For older fans Anthology (Cd 1) will put a massive smile accross your face. This is the first studio album from Janis Joplin since bad diagnosis in 1968. This album has some very good songs like Piece Of My Heart and Summertime. Anthology (Cd 1) is the best essence of Janis Joplin.
A great put together song. Janis Joplin sings Maybe in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Try (Just A Little Bit Harder) one is one of the better boring ones. I love the melodic melody of To Love Somebody and to this day it makes me feel good. Kozmic Blues - a classic song. Turtle Blues is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. A unique and uplifting song. Little Girl Blue which is my favorite is a truly Janis Joplin sounding song. Best song on the album, love it.
