Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Jean-Luc Ponty on ‘Computer Incantations For World Peace’. Since completing 1983’s ‘Computer Incantations For World Peace’, Jean-Luc Ponty fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After seeing Computer Incantations For World Peace, I had to have a good Jean-Luc Ponty cd. This album is a scorcher!
Far From The Beaten Paths is a bit of a show-tune. In Spirtual Love defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Eulogy To Oscar Romero is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. I like Nostalgia because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Individual Choice - My least favorite song on this album. In Spite Of All is another favourite of mine.
