Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Jean-Luc Ponty comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. While no new Jean-Luc Ponty album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1975 tour in Europe. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jean-Luc Ponty energies, virtually a rebirth. Exciting stuff.
Question With No Answer is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Polyfolk Dance is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Waving Memories is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Echoes Of The Future as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Bowing Bowing great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I have all of Jean-Luc Ponty’s tracks and Fight For Life is probably the most his introspective effort.
