On Musique Electronique Du Cosmos album, Jean Jacques Perrey have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 1963’s ‘The Alien Planet’, Jean Jacques Perrey fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On the Denmark charts, superstar Jean Jacques Perrey’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Jean Jacques Perrey “Musique Electronique Du Cosmos” is an amazing album.
In First Orbit is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. You can find feelings on this piece of art. In Space Light full palet of sound is used by Jean Jacques Perrey to accentuate the presentation. Intercelestial Tabulator is absolutely incredible. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Mars Reflector. Aqua Density is beautiful, yet underrated track. Jean Jacques Perrey allows each song to breathe and flourish. Cybernauts is simply gorgeous. Saturnian Bird as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Andromeda Calling because the melody in the chorus is so good. The Saturn Ambassador sets the tone for the entire album. When listening to Spatial Blues, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Barnyard In Orbit is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Chicken On The Rocks is one of these floating songs.
