Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Jean Michel Jarre’s new album to that on ‘The Essential (Remastered)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This disc has all of the essential Jean Michel Jarre classics. While no new Jean Michel Jarre album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1983 tour in North America. I Love The Essential (Remastered) from start to finish!
Charming song, great melody. Equinoxe Part 4 is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Oxygene Part 8 - This is a very lively song. C’est La Vie (feat. Natacha Atlas) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Oxygene Part 2 presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on The Essential (Remastered). Equinoxe Part 5 - For me, this is the best of the album. Souvenir De Chine / Spuvenir Of China pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Chronologie Part 4 without a doubt is the standout song of The Essential (Remastered). Still going through The Essential (Remastered) and coming to appreciate Revolution, Revolutions more and more with every listen. L’Orchestre Sous La Pluie / Band In The Rain (1:28) a good melody. I have all of Jean Michel Jarre’s tracks and Calypso is probably the most his introspective effort. Jean Michel Jarre rocks harder than ever with Quatrieme Rendez-Vous / Fourth Renderz-Vous. Oxygene Part 6 - I like this one. Diva is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
