After debuting at No. 1 last week, Joe Jackson’s album I’m the man falls to No. 2 with 654,000, a sales slide of 51%. This is what good New Age should be.
Geraldine and john is simply marvelous. Only one song from I’m the man named Kinda kute really got me. It’s different for girls is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through I’m the man. Blew our minds when we first heard I’m the man. The band wore blue shirts - This one is lively and fun. This track is clearly meant to showcase Joe Jackson’s vocal abilities. Amateur hour is a amazing, simple song by Joe Jackson at the top of his game. Get that girl - My least favorite song on this album. Opening track Friday shows the best of Joe Jackson.
