Since completing 1983’s ‘Part 1 - Fond Farewell’, John Kerr fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by John Kerr. ‘Cathedral’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I wish that “Cathedral” album was instrumental.
John Kerr is hitting on all cylinders in Part 2 - Gathering Of The Spi. Part 3 Spirits Of The Earth (1:18) - awsome. Part 4 - Sunrise is probably one of John Kerr’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. If you are a John Kerr fan, you will love Part 5 - Spring Of Eternal You. Lyrics of Part 6 - The Mountain Sleeps are precise and evocative. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of John Kerr. Strong, powerful vocals of John Kerr in Part 8 - Edge Of Eternity are very impressive. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. John Kerr must have run out of lyrics on the next track Part 4 (Reprise) - Sunset. Part 10 - I’m On My Way - John Kerr first major hit. Get Cathedral and turn on Part 11 - Where My Heart Is if you are going to sip your wine late at night.
