I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Back To The Roots Vol.2′ really is amazing. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of John Mayall energies, virtually a rebirth. This is one of the best Cd’s John Mayall has dropped to date. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about John Mayall ever.
I believe Full Speed Ahead is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. Mr. Censor Man is one of the more up-tempo songs on Back To The Roots Vol.2. Force Of Nature is probably the highlight of the album. In Boogie Alert John Mayall is at his best. You have to get essence of the Goodbye December’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Unanswered Questions is another strong production from John Mayall. Devil’s Tricks great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I think Travelling is the best song John Mayall has ever done.
