Opening track Wish I Knew A Woman shows the best of John Mayall. The City - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I find myself hearing bits of Home In A Tree here and there throughout my waking hours. Separate Ways is a bit different from John Mayall stereotypical stuff. The Fighting Line actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on John Mayall’s face. Best song on the album, love it. John Mayall has astounded me with this amazing track. The song feels complete. This track is clearly meant to showcase John Mayall’s vocal abilities.
