John Mayall “New Year, New Band, new Compan” is an amazing album.
My Train Time is nothing but pure genius. So Much To Do is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Taxman Blues gives good insight into the truths. Driving On is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Sweet Scorpio is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. John Mayall emotions are reflected through To Match The Wind. Music in Step In The Sun is cool as in all tracks of New Year, New Band, new Compan. Strong, powerful vocals of John Mayall in Can’t Get Home are very impressive. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Sitting On The Outside, which shows, blatantly, how much John Mayall has evolved as a singer.
