This is the first studio album from John Mayall since bad diagnosis in 1967. On the Estonia charts, superstar John Mayall’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After seeing Blood on the night, I had to have a good John Mayall cd. Overall, I would highly recommend THE DIARY OF A BAND I CD.
Excellent vocals and musical performances. John Mayall has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I hope to keep hearing John Mayall works for a long time to come. My owen fault is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Some call God save the queen from THE DIARY OF A BAND I as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen.
